The Oregon Business Plan hosts the Oregon Cluster Network to support Oregon's mature, growing, and emerging industry clusters and to assist cluster participants as they work to accelerate innovation and the competitiveness of their industries.
The network supports cluster development in two principal ways:
- It connects industry leaders with university researchers, schools, media, venture capitalists, economic development practitioners, and other resources.
- It generates new prospects for business recruitment, develops relevant economic and industry data, guides public policy, and helps cluster facilitators across the state share best practices to develop a regional collaborative advantage.
Cluster Network activities are guided by the Cluster Network Steering Committee. Its members represent clusters at all stages of the cluster development continuum and public agencies focused on economic development in Oregon.
